Disability Services Review

I feel compelled to reach out to affirm the excellent work you and your team at Hope Human Services are doing.  They clearly care deeply about the people they serve, and the manner they communicated with other members of the team was honest and done so very respectful and was ultimately effective.

Your team members have conducted themselves as consummate professionals which I know reflects the company and its leadership. You have built and sculpted a powerful and truly great team and the people they serve ultimately benefit.  “Thank you” does not begin to cover it!

- Tobias Clawson, Field Services Administrator for the Developmental Disabilities Administration of DSHS

Our Founder

The company was founded by Cheryl Borden, who has a long history of successfully operating multiple innovative programs providing human services; specifically, residential support services to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities in community based settings.   Throughout Cheryl’s career, she has had the opportunity to serve and develop services for hundreds of people. She has over 35 years of experience in residential support services.

At a previous company, she worked her way up from Direct Support Staff all the way to CEO, so she personally knows and appreciates the challenges that each staff position faces. Her success was a direct result of her commitment to, and relationship with the people she supports. Her services were consistently provided with a focus on quality of life and person centered support. She continues to set this standard at Hope Human Services today.
